Ah Sweet, A Blog Award!

In receiving this award, I am now supposed to tell you seven random things about myself. So here goes— 

#1  I LOVE singing in the rain! And dancing in it. Loudly. Not dancing loudly—singing loudly. Although the dancing might be loud too, for all I know. Not too long ago, I sang in the rain on Main Street in Brigham City with my daughter. We danced around a lamp pole like in Singing in the Rain. Fantastic! If you want a real thrill, try it sometime.

#2  I hugged a tiger cub. Yes, yes I did. I attended some show and volunteered to hold the little guy.

#3  I LOVE I Love Lucy! I own every, single episode ever made. I love how she's completely her own self and lives her life with craziness and quirkiness - what a way to live!


#4  When I was engaged, my sailor fiancee sailed out to sea on an aircraft carrier for six months. When I left the pier after waving goodbye, I headed down the freeway to start a job as a Mother's Helper. The biggest place I had ever driven before was Idaho Falls, Idaho. I was crying so hard, I could barely see and ended up crossing the Bay Bridge and going into San Francisco. I wasn't supposed to go over any bridges! (This story has a happily-ever-after—my Sailor Boy is my wonderful husband!)


#5  I've loved to write ever since I was a wee lass, but I also love art and majored in Commercial Art in college.


#6  I LOVE Bugs Bunny! I identify with him when he says, "Gee, aint I a stinker?" And I've always wished I could trick my opponents as easily as Bugs Bunny does!
My husband just returned from a trip where he took a photo of a giant Bugs Bunny outside a restaurant for me. Wish I could've seen it!

#7  I have a collection of old records that I love playing at full volume. Of course, there's no way I can keep from dancing—it's inevitable. My love of records came from my Dad, who bought a lot when he was a teenager. When I was growing up, my siblings and I loved singing and dancing to his great collection of tunes.
